Well just poped into the startrek.com forums to talk about the conclusion to shock wave as it aired here in the uk last week. God I should of known better, what the hell has happened to that place, all the decent members seem to ahve left(who can blame them), like bec, plumb,me,and others, although starbase has stayed(obviously has patience).
I doubt I'll visit there again.

The Startrek.com site has indeed become a cess pool of spammers and ignorant and stupid people. The admin over there doesn't seem to care anymore about what gets posted or how long the vile filth stay's up. I do occassionally pop in and read the boards but they aren't really worth checking out. Starbase63 has great patience indeed.

I agree with tailkinker. If you want to go to a good trek message board, go to either TrekBBS or Lowerdecks. Anyway, moving this to websites. |

Startrekadmin finally used her might and deleted the entire Enterprise board yesterday. All archived posts are still stored, but anything that was active was wiped out to eliminate "cleetus359d." There are only 51 topics on that board at the moment. garrovick and I actually stood side by side sparring with cleetus on Saturday. Most fun I've had since Trainer was around!  |

I quite liked sparring with the commander, now as much as that twit annopyed me, he's isn't as worst as the people on the forums now. I miss plumb and bec too, you could have decent discussions with them.

bec has her own Trek site, and she did pop into st.com for a moment the other night. Check on Ten Forward, it has her address listed. photoman59 even made an appearance last night... |

photoman59, the Federation President himself (I'm still serving as his Vice President) made an appearance at st.com the other night, after I let him know someone was impersonating him.
The cleetus problem is gone, the fart_knocker situation is under control, but now mrbastard has reappeared under a new name.
Just can't win over there...but I have patience. Even if I have to singlehandedly return those boards to the real fans, I'll keep trying...

At least you know what to expect from mrbastard and howdyho, especially since they might be the same split-personalitied person. Last Saturday was insane with that idiot cleetus. Rumor I've heard was that it was sheliak on another stupidity binge. |

ST.COM has it's problems, obviously...but even SB has stated how a strong core community that has the will to stick with it can make a difference. So thanks for giving up and feeling good about it.
