Whatever happened to Colin Ranger (or Ranger Colin), T'Pol, and most of the rest of the board membership? Seems like gdog, tailkinker, bonja and I are the only ones who come here anymore...

Hey starbase,
I agree about the lack of participation on this board. I have almost forgotten about this because of the lack of posts. It would be nice if this board were rejuvinated and maybe we could get more participation here. Otherwise, its really close to kissing this board goodbye indefinatly.

Sorry I haven't been around here lately because I haven't been able to access my dad's computer for several weeks for a couple of reasons:
1) The major snowstorms we haver been having over the last 1 1/2 months in the midwestern U.S.
2) I have had a massive sinus infection.

There also seems to be a proliferation of proboard Star Trek boards of late, such as the "Save Star Trek" Campaign's board and the United Federation of Planets. I for one really like this board here, but it needs a kick start somehow. No offense, Talya, I know it's your board, but maybe we need a better name? I have no problem myself with TrekNerds, but maybe the name is scaring prospective new members away? Something's got to be done to motivate our membership, we started off so well then hit a wall. The STFA board is only a week or so old and already has as many members as TrekNerds. We have some of the cream of the st.com oldtime crop on our roster, but when was the last time we heard from most of them? Any suggestions for how we can inject some cordrazine into this community?

My humble apologies for absenting myself. My only excuse is work and my family. I agree with starbase about infusing some new life here. I do like the new name however, it has a certain familiarity.

Hey starbase,
Its good to see this place more active. If we get more people, and get maybe colinranger or Exelion, and the other 30+ members of this board to participate, this will be a fun place to hang out.

In fact the STFA, had members before they changed to proboards. I formed my own because I got a little tried of spammers bashing me threw email and getting abuse, because my spelling of words isn't perfect or have the perfect grammer. I think it really the lack of posting the name of the board on message boards and telling people of it. It is sad to say, I made those mistakes on the boards at startrek.com and if 'd stayed after the events of last year, I would've drawed in among those spammers there. I tryed many times to start again but those same spammers just blew my new handle, five in total until I said I was gone. A friend who is here at treknerds, helpt me see the other side of which I was on atone time. After seeing what I saw on the boards and reading that it is now considered terror I have now stopped. I am ashamed of what I did, I am not about to fall back to that spamming side. This another reason I try so hard to get my own board up and running. federation.proboards14.com thats my site.

Hiya Federation. As you know, I had a bit of a go trying to register at the UFP, but I'm off and running there as well. It's a really nice board...very similar to The Trek Logs, since they're both proboards, but a good mix of people. Congratulations on it...hope you spend some time here as well...we have a good board, too...

I came, I have read and posted. My life has been like a bad "B" movie, I feel like there is an unseen director saying "oh there is not enough drama in her life, toss in a dead body or make her child run away from home. Ah wait she did that. Anyways just saying hi folks.
