As some of you may already know I have a ten year old Shih Tzu named Howie, and he thinks he is a cat!!!! It's funny when you have a pet that thinks he/she is another animal. He plays with his toys like a cat, sleeps like a cat, and even has a cat's curiousity!
To give you a mental picture of what he looks like, think of Gizmo from Gremlins. Both Howie and Gizmo have the same coloring.

We have a 2 year old cat named Cupcake...probably the most affectionate of all the cats I've ever had. He's also a great back-up alarm clock for days when I don't get out of bed on time!

My "boys" are two cats. Both American Shorthair Tabbys. One is 6 now, and brown and black, and the other is four, an orange tabby.
The brown one, whose name is Kiefer, is an absolute doll. He has the sweetest disposition. He is also really codependent, and would sit at the window and cry all day while I was at work. My neighbors finally ordered me to get him a pet to keep him company, so I got the other one.
Dodi, the orange tabby, is psycho. Last time he was at the vet, he was labeled as a viscious animal. It took two grown men to hold him down while he got his shots, and now, he must be tranquilized before transport. There is a warning on my lease, not to come into my building without me there, in case he goes nuts. He has also licked all the fur off of his legs and tummy for no medical reason. Just bored, I guess. BUT, when he isn't biting and scratching, he is such a cuddle bug! ;D
