I actually approve of a revival. Here is news on the revival: www.battlestargalacticaclub.comRonald Moore is bringing it back, and Richard Hatch is going to be in it.

Hiya Talya...are you sure Hatch is going to be in the Moore production? As I've heard the story, Hatch has been trying to get his own Galactica revival off the ground for many years (he even has footage shot and in the can of the late John Colicos to be used for him to appear as Baltar), but has been stymied by the two other efforts to bring the show back, one of which is Moore's. Unless Hatch has now decided it's better to join them than fight them and Moore has had the presence of mind to assimilate Hatch and his ideas, they have their own separate Galactica projects, but Moore's is the one currently considered "official." I would love to see Galactica come back and done right. It was sad the way the show got really stupid as it progressed, and it was starting to get better when ABC axed it. Then all we got after that was the deplorable Galactica 1980, which wasn't even good enough for Saturday morning-type sci-fi. At least Moore's Galactica will start back at square one with the destruction of the twelve colonies at the hands of Lord Baltar and the Cylons. You know, if anyone is familiar with Days of Our Lives, the man who plays Stefano DiMera would make a perfect Baltar (or Kor, for that matter) as he has many similarities to John Colicos. BTW, I still have the TV Guides from the first month or so of Galactica's run with the ads that were painted by Frank Frazetta.

Yeah, Hatch is going to be in it because StarLog confirmed it sometime back. I have been watching the Battlestar Galactica marathons that the sci-fi channel has been running. Edit: My bad. Hatch is not going to be in it. Here is the cast list and info: Sci Fi.com

It's so fun reading about stuff that is happening from when it was just speculation. The current BSG series is great, and I love the cast, espeically the guy who plays Baltar. He sounds like Dr. Bashir. ;D
