The fact that most of the aliens featured in TOS were met for the first time in TOS. For example...They cant exactly go in, and meet the aliens on "Let This Be Your Last Battlefield" because they hadnt been out that far yet. They could meet Khan, and the Botnay Bay, fight them, and put them back into cryogenic sleep, and find some reason that the incident wasnt recorded, but that would be a desperate plea for ratings. I'd like to see that though, but, who'd play Khan?
I dont care what they do. For the most part, I enjoy the show because I realize they are kind of testing the water as far as space travel. That's why Archer, and crew arent as confident as Kirk, Janeway, or Picard.

That's part of the reason we have new aliens, such as the Denobulans and the Suliban, but of course this leads to complaints from the STFA...  |

I wouldn't mind meeting new fresh new alien races to help them stay out of trek canon. Its not really a matter of what races they have, its how they are utilized, and knowing B&B, they can't come up with fresh Ideas on how to do that. What I don't like is aliens like the borg or the ferangi showing up. It just shows a lack of imagination.
BTW starbase, is this "STFA" the Star Trek Fan Association that has this big website that is completely biased to TNG.

Why must the borg appear in Enterprise at all? They were done to death in Voyager. The borg went from being pretry awesome bad guys to nothing more than Janeway's puppets. I don't know what aliens they should show but please not the borg. How about the Metrons or the Gorn?? Or how about the guys from the First Federation?

Unfortunately, tailkinker , the aliens you mentioned were all first contacts by Kirk. Perhaps a secret mission to Sarpedion or a failed peace mission to Eminar VII might work. I'd even watch Archer fight a Mugato.
For the record, I don't care for the Borg appearing on ENT either. I never liked them and I don't understand people's fascination with them.

Those are good ideas Bonja. I wouldn't mind seeing one of the security guys or an unknown crewman get blown up or killed on an away mission and see how Archer tears his heart or soul up about that.
