Since everyone seems to be into prequals these days, why not do something very creative that would generate huge ratings...
My idea? Enterprise meets Voyager. Sounds impossible?, Well, read on, my friends.
The show could start out with Voyager in the Delta Quadrant. They find some kind of wormhole that appears to go back to Federation Space. They send a probe, and it comes out in what at Voyager's time, is federation space, but in Enterprise's time, it is just beyond where Enterprise has travelled. The data of course tells Janeway that it is in fact Federation space, but it is damaged in the trip, and the clock is broken, but Janeway decides to go through anyway. About the time that Voyager comes through, Archer, and Enterprise are investigating the probe. Imagine Archer's reaction when a huge futuristic looking ship comes barreling out of thin air. They communicate with each other, Archer not knowing whether or not to believe Janeway, and Janeway suspecting that they have been tricked again. Eventually, they trust each other, and Janeway learns what time they are in. Now, they have to go back to the Delta Quadrant even though they are less than 3 months away from Earth. And, they have to find a way to do it, and erase Enterprise's crew's memories, so the doctor, and Enterprise's doctor find a way to do it. Voyager's doctor sets something up to erase Enterprise's crew memory at the exact time they go into the wormhole, and it closes. He then, erase's just the Doctor's memory.Voyager goes back, the wormhole is disabled, the device goes off, Enterprise's memories are erased,and we are left with Enterprise showing up to investigate the probe, which of course is not there, and they go on their way.
