I liked it. I really liked it... Phlox and his wife were funny. Trip all worried about how Phlox would feel. It was very amusing. T;Pol and her desire for illness to not be brought into the light and the willingness of one vulcan to stick up for her. I thought this episode was tastefully done and I will watch it again on Saturday. Ok folks lets hear your thoughts on the matter.

I liked it too, but I wasn't impressed with the B-story. I thought the main story was interesting, though not very subtle and showed that Vulcan culture will need to mature a great deal to reach the level of respect it has in the 23rd century.
Next week's episode looks promising. I can hardly wait.

Hey tail,
I thought Sigma was actually a really good episode except for the whole vulcan attitude. Its one thing to basically ruin the continuity of the vulcans with the mind-melds, but it doesn't stop there. They were rude arrogent, and why those vulcans are called doctors I have no idea.
I liked the whole AIDS awarness thing, even though they were 18 years too late. Scientists now don't consider those with Aids outcasts like these vulcans did with Pen'ar Syndrome. They are trying to help these people, but this episode showed the opposite IMO.
I liked the whole thing with Trip and Phlox's wife. It added some well deserved humor to the show.
Overall Grade: B
I can't wait till next week though, the "Timly Event" is coming. ;D

I have to see the whole episode over, but it seemed pretty well done. An attempt at social commentary to me says maybe someone has gone back and watched some good TOS eisodes. Pacing was better, though the ending once again seemed sudden. A good job overall, though.
