Apart from than it has a slight hint of 'Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century', it's one of the most original sci-fi series to come out in the past decade. Its the usual start, an astronaut goes through a wormhole and ends up at the otherside of the galaxy (Slight Voyager ring to that). He's never seen aliens before so as you can imagine he's a bit freaked by it all.
The concepts they tackle are mindblowing at times and makes compelling viewing. Its made with the same quality as the movies, meaning on a grand scale. Thats all i'll say at the moment.

I am still mad this show is getting cancelled, because it is a great series. The stories are really well done, the premise is very good, and Ben Browder and Claudia Black are great actors who makes this show so good. I also love the wierdness of it, its so very scifi. I agree, the concepts are so mindblowing, thats why this series is the best scifi series I have ever seen. Like I said, its a shame its getting cancelled.

What the hell, they really quoted that? What scifi isn't a space-type show other than X-files. I think scifi has lost all its marbles and thank god I am no longer watching that network.

I wished that it wasn't cancelled either! I have been a follower of Jim Henson and everything he did since I saw the Muppets on Sesame Street. I was nine when Sesame Street first came on-my brother watched it, but I just loved the Muppets! And I feel that Brian Henson is doing a great job filling in his father's shoes. When I saw The Muppets' Treasure Island, I was crying when it was over because Brian did a terrific job, and I know that Jim would have been proud of him. And the Muppeteer who played Kermit in the movie-you would have thought it was Jim himself playing Kermit. It was errie. Farscape was the first adult show put out by Jim Henson Company-to my knowledge, and I felt that Brian was doing a great job. Pilot and Rygel are Muppets. I hope that someone will pick it up!
