For those who haven't heard, George Harrison's final album, "Brainwashed" has been released. The album, which was almost complete when Harrison passed away a year ago, was completed and produced by George's son Dhani and fellow Traveling Wilbury (and ELO frontman) Jeff Lynne. So far the reviews are great, AP's David Bauder says the album "stands among Harrison's best work since the Beatles ended three decades ago." The track completion was done by Dhani Harrison and Jeff Lynne on Guitars and Wilburys drummer Jim Keltner. Said Dhani, "He (George) never cared whether his album came out or not. He was over the music industry. I think his album needed to come out, and we wanted to get it out." As soon as I get my copy out of its wrapper, I'll let you know how it is...

"Brainwashed" to me has lived up to its reports. It almost could be credited as the lost Nelson Wilbury solo album. Much of the same flavor, with great lyrics throughout. Highly recommended to all Harrison/Beatle fans. George's last staement is definitely one of his best.
