Akira live action remake « Thread Started on Dec 2, 2002, 6:01am »
Akira(so good they named a starship class after it) is probably the most famous anime movie ever*shuddrs described as the star wars of anime movies(not because of its content but because it made anime popular in the west). A live action movie has been debated for quite sometime, and unfortunatly, they are going to do one, the director of blade and the extraordinary league of gentlemen, is taking charge of the project, and has been slated for a 2005 release. Now I say unfortunatly because quite basicly hollywood is crap when it comes to making sci fi films that have already been done(war of the worlds, invisible man, are good examples of this). So Akira live action, good or bad for you guys?!
